Salvation—and the peace that surpasses and overcomes fear brought on by brokenness—inspires a new song in your heart that overflows from your lips.

We are his sheep, and we bow down before him. We kneel in adoration. He is our Lord, our Maker. He stakes a claim on our lives.

Our pains and complaints are but a breath. Knowledge and wisdom come from God alone. Regardless of what you face, receive the discipline of the Lord that your pain brings your way.

As in Psalm 2, the nations may rage but the throne of the Lord is impenetrable. The Lord is from everlasting to everlasting.

Faith knows that while the wicked flourish now, the righteous flourish eternally. The psalmist compares the righteous to a palm tree growing like a cedar—one of the most resilient trees.

The dwelling place and refuge of the Most High is our ultimate protection against eternal evil.

God has no beginning. Before mountains were created and before the earth was formed, God was. I AM. The great I AM. He is from everlasting to everlasting. No beginning. No ending.

If your circumstances are telling you that God has removed his steadfast love from you, your circumstances are lying to you. He will not be false to his faithfulness.

Psalm 88 does not fully resolve. The chapter ends with... "darkness is my only friend." The despair is not healed. There is no balm provided.

Allow this truth to pour over you if you’re facing the pain of loss: Foes will be made friends. If he can redeem those adversarial relationships he will, indeed, make all things new.
